TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- About two-hundred people were at the statehouse for Thursday's National Day of Prayer.
The day of prayer is promoted as a time for the nation to pray for community, nation, and the country's leaders.
Prayer over the lunch hour was led by Governor Sam Brownback.
The governor was scheduled to lead prayer at another event Thursday at Washburn University in room "A" of the student union at 7 p.m.
