Motorcyclist Seriously Injuried In SW Topeka Accident

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- At approximately 4:13 p.m., the Topeka Police Department received several calls from different citizens reporting an injury accident at SW 21st and SW Randolph.

A motorcyclist travelling eastbound on 21st collided with a Chevrolet Malibu exiting a private driveway. The impact ejected the 48-year-old motorcyclist, while the motorcycle continue to travel by itself for approximately a block east, Corporal Chris Sturgeon at the scene said.

He was transported to the hospital with serious injures, Sturgeon said.

The driver of the Chevy Malibu, an 18-year-old male, is doing okay.
