TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)--Citizens rallied together at Topeka Harley Davidson Saturday, to remember three men who lost their lives in Afghanistan one year ago.

Soldiers and veterans along with a team of bikers joined in on the "with it or on it" memorial ride that started in Gardner, and ended in Overland Park.

The ride honored three men from the US Army Reserves based in Kansas who died when Extortion Flight 17 crashed last August 2011.

Riders remembered the pilot in command, Chief Warrant Officer 2 Bryan Nichols, flight engineer, Sergeant Alex Bennet and crew chief, Specialist Spencer Duncan.

All proceeds raised for the ride go to benefit the Highway Memorial Fund, the Wounded Warrior Project, and the Make It Count Project.
