Motion Hearing Set For Former Youth Pastor Facing Sex Charges

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Another motion hearing is set for a former Topeka church leader charged with child sex crimes.

32-year-old Hugh Cranford is scheduled to be back in court on July 25th.

Cranford is charged with three counts of aggravated indecent liberties with a child, lewd fondling.

A fourth charge, aggravated intimidation of a witness, was dismissed.

He was in training to be a pastor, and was a youth minister at Faith Lutheran Church at 17th and Gage in Topeka.
