TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- It's the end of an era for the Topeka Capital-Journal.
Monday's newspaper (5/7) will be the last one printed at the company's Topeka location on Jefferson Street.
The paper is outsourcing its print operation to the Kansas City Star beginning with its Tuesday edition.
CJ officials say 34 employees were affected, and have received severance packages. They say some of those employees had worked there for decades.
