Minnesota Man Found Guilty Of Human Trafficking In Kansas

OAKLEY, Kansas (WIBW) -- A Minnesota man has been found guilty of aggravated human trafficking of a minor.

A Logan County jury found 27-year-old Preston Sanders of St. Paul, Minnesota guilty of transporting a person under the age of 18 for the sexual gratification of another person.

He was also found guilty of transporting an open container of alcohol, furnishing alcohol to a minor and driving with a suspended license.

A traffic stop on Interstate 70 of the vehicle Sanders was driving prompted an investigation by the Logan County Sheriff's Office, the Kansas Bureau of Investigation, the Kansas Highway Patrol, the Des Moines Police Department in Iowa and the St. Paul, Minnesota Police Department.

Sanders will be sentenced December 5th.
