TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Area middle school students are working to reduce underage drinking.

Students from Landon Middle School visited three locations Wednesday that sell alcohol. They placed a sticker on the merchandise, warning that it is illegal to buy alcohol for a minor.

The "Sticker Shock" campaign is supported by the middle school's "SADD" program.

Stickers were placed on multi-packs of beer, wine coolers and other alcoholic beverages to educate adults about the consequences of buying alcohol for minors.
