TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A candidate for Topeka Mayor is explaining a past drunk driving case.
Court records show Michael Ogle was arrested in June 2002 for a DUI, when he was 21-years-old. He completed a diversion program and the case was dismissed in 2004.
Ogle told the Topeka Capital Journal it was a mistake born of youth...
in 2011, a jury found him "not guilty" in a separate DUI case.
Ogle told the paper he did not commit the crime and the jury process worked. Ogle faces Larry Wolgast in next week's Mayoral election.
