Mayetta Hosts Area Expo

MAYETTA, Kan (WIBW)__ Kansans kickstarted Saturday morning with a bike ride to Mayetta for some barbecue and lessons in energy efficiency.

The City of Mayetta held its fifth annual energy expo along with a ride-in bike show and a barbecue cook-off.

Bikes from surrounding areas competed for best of show while attendees learned how to save money while conserving energy.

The event also featured energy-efficient cars and appliances.
