MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- A Manhattan man says he was knocked unconscious and robbed as he was leaving a local bowling alley.
Michael Senn, 28, from Manhattan, tells Riley County police that he was leaving the Little Apple Lanes on Richards Drive around midnight on March 19, 2012. As he was driving away, Senn realized that two of his tires were going flat and he pulled into a nearby Dara’s Fast Lane parking lot, where he noticed that the tires had been slashed.
As Senn was dealing with his tire situation, he says he was suddenly knocked unconscious by a unknown suspect or suspects. He did not know what was used to strike him and did not get a look at his attacker or attackers. When he woke up, he found that $1,500 worth of property had been stolen from his car including an amplifier, an electric guitar, an acoustic guitar and his cell phone.
The robbery is still under investigation by the Riley County Police Department.
