MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - A driver whose car swerved off a Manhattan road at 11:40 P.M. Saturday fled the scene but ended up at a hospital.
Police say 25-year-old Galvin Cameron was speeding down Frontage Road near Bluemont Avenue in Manhattan when his Pontiac Grand Am veered off the road.
Cameron ran over a fire hydrant and a light pole. His car rolled over and landed on its roof.
Cameran fled the scene injured, but was found by police officers and taken to Mercy Regional Health Center. The extent of his injuries are unknown.
Officers performed a DUI investigation, the results are pending.
