MANHATTAN, Kan. (WIBW) -- A charitable organization in Manhattan celebrated the opening of their new location Wednesday.
The Greater Manhattan Community Foundation cut the ribbon on their new office located on the second floor of the Colony Square Office Complex at 555 Poyntz Avenue.
The non-profit charity has been serving the Manhattan area for the past 14 years, promoting philanthropy through creative donor services.
They hope their new location will offer more visibility to the public.
The foundation is a collection of many different charitable funds, each separately accounted for, and each with its own design and purpose, according to their website.
Their mission is to enable donors to fulfill their charitable desires, build a permanent endowment, facilitate prudent management and care of funds and meet needs through grants, awards, and scholarships.
