TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A man was apprehended earlier this evening in connection with a US Bank robbery.
The Kansas Highway Patrol located the vehicle and apprehended the man in Ellis County around 7:45 p.m.
At around 4:00 p.m., the robber allegedly handed a bank teller at the US Bank on SW Wanamaker a note demanding money and stating he had a gun, which was never shown.
He then took off in a blue Volkswagon Jetta.
It is unknown how much money the robber got away with.
