TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Topeka Police say they arrested Nicholas Claspill, 21, Thursday morning after they say he led them on a chase through part of north Topeka.
Police responded to a stolen car report at 942 NE Wabash, Topeka, at about 2 a.m. Officers spotted the reported vehicle, a white Dodge Dakota, at First and Jackson. When they tried to pull the vehicle over, the driver refused.
Police say the suspect led them on a chase to the 700 block of Roosevelt, where the truck got stuck. That's when authorities say Claspill bailed and ran from the vehicle. He was soon arrested for Auto Theft, Fleeing and Eluding and confessed to stealing 4 vehicles over night.
