TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A Topeka man will spend more than 15 years behind bars for a holdup at an east Topeka convenience store.
Marvin Watts pleaded guilty in March to attempted first degree felony murder. Prosecutors say he and another man robbed the East Quick Stop on SE 6th Street at gunpoint last July.
In addition to 15 years and four months in prison, Watts also will serve three years post-release supervision.
