Man In Custody After Leading Police On Chase

Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) - A man is in custody after leading authorities on a motorcycle chase Sunday morning.

It started around 5 a.m. at K-4 and 46th street in Jefferson County and ended when the driver laid the bike over in the 2800 block of 39th street.

20-year-old Matthew Abramovitz was driving the Honda CBR 600 and tried to report that it was stolen.

He was taken into custody and has been charged with interference, fleeing or attempting to elude, purchase or consumption of alcohol by a minor, reckless driving and failure to stop at an accident.
