Lutheran Missouri Synod Holds Kansas Convention

TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)---The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod held its Kansas district convention Friday.

Kansans from a couple hundred congregations were in Topeka for the event.

They voted on issues in theology and practice in the state of Kansas and heard from President Matthew C. Harrison.

The Lutheran Church Missouri Synod is made up of more than 6,000 congregations, but Harrison says it still feels like a closely-knit community.
