TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) Many residents at Englewood Apartments, located on 10th and S.W. Fairlawn found out Wednesday morning that they are without a landlord and were left for ten hours without water.
Early Wednesday morning tenants at Englewood woke up to realize they were without running water.
When they tried to contact their landlord Ian Robbins of I.N.K. Properties, they were left with a voicemail telling them to contact a Bankruptcy Trustee that none of the residents could get a hold of.
I.N.K. properties had recently filed for bankruptcy and the water was shut off due to an unpaid water bill which is not part of the residents utitlities, and was to be taken care of by management.
"I'm a single parent, I can't afford to just get up and move again, and I just move here in February and it's only May" said resident Charlotte White.
The water was turned on late afternoon wednesday for the residents. The phone number online for the apartment complex is currently unavailable and the Bankruptcy Trustee could not be reached.
