TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Local middle school students are helping raise money for a good cause.
The Landon Middle School student council will be hosting activities to raise money for breast cancer all week long.
"Pink Out" events include pink treats, face painting and bows, and pink popcorn at after school games.
On Friday, students and staff are encouraged to go all out in pink, with prizes for the top participants.
A team from Landon Middle School will also host a tailgate party at 11:30 a.m. Sunday in the north parking lot of the Capital before participating in the breast cancer awareness walk.
