Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) - The college experience isn't just about what school you are attending. The city where the school is located is also important and two local cities made the list.
Lawrence placed 8th on the list of Best College Towns in the Country for college students according to the American Institute For Economic Research.
Manhattan made its debut on the list coming in at 14th among college towns.
The top college town was Ithaca, NY followed by Ames, Iowa.
