Little Ones Test Strength And Sweet Tooth At Spooktacular

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Lots of little munchkins and pumpkins could be found at this year's Spooktacular.

Little heroes tested their supernatural strengths at a pumpkin launch - The game was just one of the many free ones at the annual fall event at the Velma K. Paris Community Center.

"Trunk or Treat" proved even superheroes have a sweet tooth. Volunteers with Southwest Topeka Bible Church handed out sweets straight out of the trunk of their decorated cars.

Pastor David Johnson said it was the church's third year participating in Spooktacular and a great way to be part of the community.

The event is hosted by Shawnee County Parks and Recreation.
