TOPEKA, Kan (WIBW)__ One local assisted living facility is standing out among the community.
Lexington Park Assisted Living received zero deficiencies on a survey done in August by the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services.
This means the facility did not fall short when it came to following up on physicians orders, lab work or providing care to its 55 residents.
The staff says it has worked together to be able to give residents the best care possible. They plan a party next month to celebrate the achievement.
