Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) - The man charged with killing a Seaman High School graduate on May 25, may now lose his public defender.
Ron Evans has filed a motion to withdraw from representing 20-year-old Dustin Leftwich. He cited professional reasons.
Leftwich faces charges including murder and kidnapping for the May 25th death of Brenna Morgart, as well as aggravated assault with a deadly weapon, a vehicle, from an unrelated incident last year.
He's due back in court July 3.
