Topeka, Kan. (WIBW) - One local organization is launching an extensive voter registration campaign at local high schools.
The League Of Women Voters will be travelling to area high schools to register students who will be 18-years-old by the November 6th election.
18-29 year olds make up one quarter of the electorate.
Students will either need a driver's license number or the last four digits of their social security number to register.
The voter registration times are as follows:
Sept. 26, Hope Street 11:30 a.m.
The rest of the registrations will take place on Sept. 25 at the following places and times:
Hayden High, 11:15 a.m.-1:15 p.m.
Rossville High, 11:15 a.m.
Seaman High, 11:15 a.m.-1:00 p.m.
Shawnee Heights, 10:30 a.m.-12:50 p.m.
Silver Lake High, 11:30 a.m.
Washburn Rural, 7:15-8:00 a.m., 11:45 a.m.-1:20 p.m.
Washburn Tech, 9:15 a.m.-11:15 a.m., 11:45 a.m.-1:20 p.m.
The last day to register to be able to vote in the Nov. 6 election is Oct. 16.
