TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - A gas station in Lawrence is a leader in new fuel usage.
Zarco 66 began selling E15 gasoline, the first in the country to sell the gas to regular vehicles.
The 15% ethanol fuel can be used by car models 2001 or newer.
Zarco 66 employees say they hope to reduce the country's dependence on foreign oil.
This Wednesday, July 18, they will have their new gas discounted to $1.15 a gallon for two hours, from 6:30 a.m. to 8:30 a.m.
