LAWRENCE, Kan. (WIBW) -- Investigators think they've found the man who robbed a Lawrence grocery store at gunpoint last week and are now trying to determine if he's linked to two other armed robberies in the area, according to the Lawrence Police Dept.

The suspect, who has not been identified yet, is accused of walking into the La Tiendita on Iowa St. on Saturday, pulling out a gun and threatening a clerk.

Surveillance video helped them identify the suspect. They then were able to obtain information on where he might be staying.

Officers found him there around 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday and took him into custody.

The Lawrence Police Dept. said it wanted to thank the people who helped them track down the suspect as well as the FBI, the Topeka Police Dept.'s Violent Crime Task Force, and other members of the Topeka Police Dept. for their help.
