Kansas National Guard Welcomes Three New Inductees

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-Three new inductees were welcomed into the Kansas National Guard's Hall of Fame Sunday evening.

Chaplain Col. Daivd Jenkins introduced Retired Command Sergeant Major Jana Harrison.

Harrison is best known for being the first female Command Sergeant Major in the Kansas National Guard.

Then, the crowd applauded CW4 Cornelius Vandermotten. His career spans over 40 years of military service.

And lastly, Lieutenant Colonel Robert Webb walked down the aisle to an applause. He retired in 1987 after 31 years of military service.

The ceremony also included remarks from Major General Lee Tafanelli, the Adjutant General of Kansas.
