TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Governor Sam Brownback continued his drought tour in Northwest Kansas today.
He made stops in Trego, Graham, and Sheridan counties.
Brownback met with local officials, farmers, business owners and ranchers to see how they are dealing with the heat and dry weather.
Browback said, despite the high temperatures and lack of water, he is impressed with the level of cooperation throughout the communities.
Tomorrow, Brownback will participate in a video conference call with Senator Pat Roberts to talk about getting assistance for those affected by the drought.
