TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) Kansas labor officials are scheduled to release the latest snapshot of the state's economy with the announcement of the November unemployment rate.
The report due Thursday is the final to be released in 2013. The next report will be announced in late January.
Kansas had a seasonally adjusted unemployment rate of 5.6 percent in October, down slightly from September's 5.7 percent but unchanged from October 2012.
The state has seen its jobless rate fluctuate in 2013 from a low of 5.5 percent in January and February to a high of 5.9 percent in July and August.
