MANHTTAN, Kan. (WIBW) - A completion date could be coming sooner than expected for the new Kansas Department of Agriculture building in Manhattan.
With only a few months to go before employees move into the new building at Research Park, officials say the project could be finished early and under budget.
Carpet is currently being installed on the building’s third floor and furniture will be moved in later this month.
Manhattan city officials are also discussing plans for improvements on North Manhattan Avenue. The city hopes to begin work in the summer, making a stretch of road near the research park four-lanes.
Crews expect final items to be finished in May with employees moving in by June.
