TOPEKA, Kan. (AP) Kansas officials are considering a new red card for people on food stamps.
The Department of Children and Families says it may change from a card with a sunflower design to a bright red one because it has a new vendor.
Critics say they worry it could return Kansas to the days when people on public assistance were unfairly stigmatized.
