TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)--A Kansas Congressman predicts the U.S. will hit its debt limit again by January 5th.
First District Republican Tim Huelskamp says, "that America should not get rid of the debt ceiling."
He says, "it keeps big spenders in check and Congress should make it harder for the nation to incur debt."
Huelskamp says, America currently owes more than 16 trillion dollars, more than 50 thousand dollars for every person in America.
