Enrollment Up At Kansas' Public Universities, Colleges

Fall 2012 Semester

TOPEKA, Kan. – Enrollment figures released Thursday (9/27) by the Kansas Board of Regents shows an increase of 458 students at the state’s 32 public universities, community colleges and technical colleges. This represents a 0.24% system wide increase for the 2012 fall academic semester over the 2011 fall academic semester.

The system wide enrollment of 188,694 is reported as of census day by each institution.

Enrollment was down at the seven public universities and 19 community colleges, -152 students (-0.15%) and -150 students (-0.19%) respectively.

Enrollment was up at the six technical colleges by 705 students, an increase of 13.40%. Please see the attached spreadsheet for individual institution enrollment figures.
