OSAGE CITY, Kan. (WIBW) - Osage County residents steered their way toward details on two road projects that are in the works.
Displays and maps at Osage City Elementary School helped illustrate the projects.
One of them will reconstruct K-31 from Osage city to U.S. 75. Crews will smooth out hills and add shoulders to improve safety and provide passing opportunities.
The second project, the U.S. 75 and K-31 and K-268 roundabout project, will replace the four-way intersection with a single lane roundabout.
Officials say recent events, including a fatality accident, promoted a review of the intersection.
The roundabout project is set to begin in late fall.
