TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- The Kansas Department of Health and Environment has rescinded the boil water advisory for rural water district number 4.
That includes the town of Neosho Rapids located in Lyon County. The water advisory was issued on August 13th because of a loss of pressure in the water system due to a water main break.
Laboratory testing on samples collected August 16th indicate no evidence of contamination and all other conditions that placed the system at risk of contamination are deemed by KDHE officials to be resolved.
