KANSAS CITY, Kan. (WIBW) -- Hundreds of thousands of holiday travelers are expected to pass through Kansas City International Airport over the long Thanksgiving weekend, according to new estimates from the Kansas City Aviation Dept.
Thanksgiving has long been one of the busiest travel weeks of year. In fact, Airlines for America estimates 25 million passengers will fly over the 12-day Thanksgiving season.
Passengers are encouraged check the airport website for flight status updates, check in online, and print out their boarding passes at home, if possible.
Make sure you arrive at the airport about 90 minutes before you leave, or two hours if your traveling overseas, in case there are a lot of travelers ahead of you.
