GREAT BEND, Kan. (AP) _ The Kansas Bureau of Investigation has
joined the investigation into the death of a man whose body was
found near Great Bend.
Hunters found the body of 25-year-old Damon L. Galyard Saturday
along a road southwest of Great Bend. He was shot to death.
Barton County Sheriff Greg Armstrong said Tuesday that a Great
Bend home was searched twice on Saturday and a vehicle that might
be connected to the case was recovered.
The Hutchinson News reports (http://bit.ly/ryu8xw) that
Armstrong has said Galyardt's body had not been near the road for
long when it was found.
