TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) We now know the name of the man killed in an early morning crash Thursday on K-4 Highway in Wabaunsee County.
Jason Willard, 37, of Eskridge died after his car collided head-on with a white van Thursday morning.
Willard was not wearing a seat belt.
The crash happened around 5:30 a.m. Thursday morning on K-4 Highway, just about a mile and a half north of Eskridge.
The highway was shut down for 3 hours between Mission Valley Road and Military Trail Road while crews cleaned up after the wreck.
Four people were traveling in the white van during the collision. One passenger was transported by Lifestar to an area hospital, two others were taken to Stormont-Vail, and one occupant refused treatment at the scene.
