TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Shawnee County District Attorney Chad Taylor says opening arguments in a nearly decade-old Topeka double murder case will begin Thursday morning (3/8).
Dana Chandler is charged with two counts of first degree murder for the shooting deaths of her ex-husband Mike Sisco and his fiance Karen Harkness.
Lawyers exercised their right to strike potential jurors Wednesday afternoon, selecting 12 jurors and six alternates, 13 women and five men, to hear the case.
The first witness for the prosecution will take the stand Thursday. The trial is expected to last three weeks.
