The American Institute Of Architects Of Topeka helped kids learn to bring their imagination to life Saturday afternoon.

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)__ The American Institute Of Architects Of Topeka helped kids learn to bring their imagination to life Saturday afternoon.

The Kansas Children's Discovery Center hosted the event for children to try their hand at architecture.

They used wood materials along with gummy bears to create houses and other objects.

Kids also had the chance to build a huge blanket fort complete with vaulted ceilings.

The event lasted from 1:00pm to 4:00 pm in the Discovery Center's multi-media gallery.
