Jordy Nelson And Governor Brownback Launch State Agricultural Trademark

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-Governor Brownback, Secretary of Agriculture Dale Rodman, the Peterson brothers and one honored guest took a 3-stop launch Saturday to introduce the new state agricultural trademark.

The Kansas Department of Agriculture re-branded the state's agriculture trademark from "Simply Kansas" to "From the Land of Kansas" to best serve Kansas consumers.

The final stop of the 3-stop launch was at the Statehouse where Governor Brownback signed a proclamation to make the new brand official.

The Peterson brothers presented a song in honor of the new brand. And Jordy Nelson, a K-State graduate from the Green Bay Packers, was the honored guest speaker.

The 3-stop launch included a stop at Original Juan Specialty Foods in Kansas City and Wichita Brewing Company and Pizzeria in Wichita.
