Manhattan, Kan. (WIBW) - Two Members of Congress toured the National Bio and Agro-Defense Facility in Manhattan Saturday afternoon.
Representative Lynn Jenkins hosted House Majority Whip Kevin Mccarthy during a visit to the NBAF site and the Biosecurity Research Institute.
Jenkins thanked Mccarthy for his support of NBAF's construction
"Manhattan is where NBAF belongs, a fact confirmed by two administrations and Members of Congress from across the political spectrum, and it's funding will continue to be a priority of the house," Jenkins said in a statement.
