Jackson County Man Convicted In Domestic Abuse Case
HOLTON, Kan. (WIBW) - A Jackson County man has been convicted of domestic battery.
Jurors found 36-year-old Brian Vaught guilty Wednesday of aggravated battery, aggravated assault and two counts of domestic battery.
The 28-year-old victim testified that on July 4th, Vaught head butted her in the face, shattering her nose and cheekbone. A couple weeks later, she says, he held her at gun point and threatened to kill her.
Vaught faces a maximum eight and a half years in prison when he's sentenced January 11th.
