Jackson Co. Issues Warrant For Rape Suspect

HOLTON, Kan. (WIBW) - Jackson County authorities are asking for the public's help to find a suspect in a kidnapping and rape.

They've issued a warrant for 36-year-old Clinton Lee McKinney. He is a Native American man, five-foot-eleven, weighing around 200 pounds.

McKinney is wanted on two counts of rape and counts of kidnapping, aggravated sexual battery and domestic battery. Jackson Co. Sheriff Tim Morse says the charges stem from two incidents that happened July 26th and July 28th.

McKinney is believed to be in the Mayetta, Topeka or Lawrence areas. Anyone with information on McKinney's whereabouts should contact the Jackson County Sheriff's Office at 785-364-2251.
