TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-One department store will keep its doors open longer to kick off the holiday shopping season.
J.C. Penney will open most of its stores at 8 p.m.last year, the store was one of the last to open not until Friday morning.
Executive Vice President of the store Tony Bartlett said shoppers can take advantage of better deals this year.
35,000 seasonal workers will be hired. Nearly 50% higher than last year.
