Iwig Dairy Files For Bankruptcy
TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-- A local dairy has filed for Chapter 12 Bankruptcy.
Iwig Dairy filed in U.S. bankruptcy court this week. It gives them 90 days to create a reorganization plan to provide payment to their creditors.
Dairy production will continue during the reorganization. Milk,ice cream and butter will still be available at their Topeka,Tecumseh and Lawrence locations.
Iwig blames the continued drought and summer heat for low milk production.
