India Fest Attracts Large Crowd

TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW)-Kansans got a taste of homemade Indian cuisine and a chance to experience Indian culture Saturday at the annual India Fest.

The India Fest took place at the Big Gage Shelter House from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. and visitors enjoyed many activities, like indulging in some Indian food.

Others got henna hand art and visitors also expressed their creativity through traditional Indian dances.

Proceeds from the event go towards Midland Care Hospice services and Kansas Action for Children.
