TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) -- Dana Chandler, the woman charged in the 2002 slaying of Michael Sisco and Karen Harkness, is back in Topeka and made her first court appearance Monday.
Chandler was in court at 10:30 Monday morning after being brought back to the capital city from Oklahoma last Saturday.
Bond for Chandler is set at one million dollars.
Chandler is the ex-wife of Michael Sisco. Sisco and his girlfriend, Haren Harkness, were shot multiple times while they slept in their SW Topeka home in July 2002.
Her next court date is August 4th, and will be a criminal assignment docket hearing to set a preliminary hearing date.
