Shawnee County Dispatch told 13 News that most bridges and overpasses were covered with a thin sheet of ice on Saturday morning.
A four-car accident was reported around 6:05 a.m. on the I-470 and US-75 northbound exit ramp. Crews had the flyover shutdown while crews cleaned up the wreck and waited for KDOT to treat the surface for ice.
One person was taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.
