TOPEKA, Kan. (WIBW) - Plan ahead for your drive to and from work Wednesday.
Beginning at 7:00 a.m., the westbound lane of 1-70 will be closed for 13 miles from Valencia Road to K-30.
Crews will work to re-surface the stretch of road through the fall. Road work will pick back up in the spring on the eastbound lanes.
The project is expected to be completed in the late summer next year.
